The Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association (HSGA) is the credible resource for all things related to Hawaiian Steel Guitar music. Their members range from students to legendary musicians. Their events offer you a chance to get close to the best players and hear beautiful Hawaiian Steel Guitar music expertly played. We called our idea for re-branding the HSGA “Finding Hawaiian Bliss” and it is based on the convergence of discovery and beauty. What the brand talks about and the way the brand acts is all about discovery. From showing people new artists, old artists, new tunings, old songs, new and used gear to teaching them how to do things and what to avoid is really about enticing people to participate in the brand and creating a desire to keep them coming back. How the brand presents itself needed to reflect the charm of both the island of Hawaii and its music. Our concept was to create the ideal version of Waikiki, with Diamond Head in the background and the solitude of the iconic Hawaiian Steel Guitar front and center. From the choice of warm colors to the easy feeling that simplicity of design brings, the visual presentation conveys the relaxed beauty of Hawaiian Steel Guitar music and overall Hawaiian bliss.
