Julia Morgan School for Girls is a middle school founded in 1989 on the Mills College campus. The goal of the School is to create an arena for academic excellence, critical thinking, positive risk-taking, and the development of individual talents. The school needed to re-create its brand to better reflect their academic heft and the strength of their namesake. With every touch point, they needed to stand toe to toe with the well-funded private schools nearby, their biggest competitors

 

Through our re-branding we were able to bring to life the synergy of art, math and engineering that were the cornerstone of renowned architect Julia Morgan’s career. Her work, ethos and drive to break barriers for women is the inspiration of the school.
